This is a double book. I am reviewing the books separately.Legacy: Legacy continues the story of Holly Cathers, head of the Cahors Coven and her fellow witches. With Seattle destroyed, Holly travels to England to try and garner help against the Devereauxs. She soon learns that she needs to travel to the Dreamtime to help her old family friend. I enjoyed most of this story, but the jumping around from character to character could be distracting. Overall, I enjoyed it.
Spellbound: Spellbound, the penultimate story of the Wicked series, opens with Holly's group of witches completely thrown apart. With many of their friends dead, Nicole trapped, and Holly possessed, Amanda and the rest of the witches head back to Europe for a final showdown. I enjoyed Spellbound more than the previous two, although the jumping between different perspectives confused me at times. The final showdown was incredible and I was happy this wasn't the final book.

This was a wonderful book!!! I loved the story line and the character the whole set was wonderful and looking forward to reading what else this author has to offer!!
How were these even published? What a ridiculous series! The characters are not well written and the storyline is very uncomfortable. Not recommended!
I choose to give this series 2 stars because I feel like "hate" is a really strong word. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I won't be recommending this series to anyone. Sorry
I loved the whole series. Nancy had my attention which I could not tear away from. I strongly recommend the first two books which is one volume.
Love this series!
I have to say that I had such high hopes for this series reading the info about it. I am sad that I did not read the reviews before hand, but it probably would not have made much difference to me. I like to find out for myself how good or bad a book can be. The Wicked Series is a long read. I do not mean in page number, but in the actual plot. Have you ever watched a movie & wondered when it would get to the point? When it would end? That is the feeling I felt for the majority of reading the first 4 books.
I kept getting really fed up with the writers' annoying use of the 3rd person use for "one." "One should make sure to wipe One's feet at the door before entering One's home." <-- (Just an example) - Teenagers do not talk like that. I am not trying to be knit-picky, but after a while of reading lines like that (which there are not too many of, but enough to drive me nuts) I just kept wanting to put the book down & move onto another series.
Do not get me wrong, I enjoyed the plot. The story could have just been SO MUCH BETTER. I really wish there could have been less loss of life on the side of good. It took 4 books & what, 15 deaths on the side of good, before someone on the bad side actually died?
Okay, I am sorry for listing so much bad, when there were good parts. Read it for yourself to find out... but make sure to only buy 1 of the books at a time to make sure you will like them first. Thank You
I have to say I did enjoy Wicked 2 more than the first books in the series. It is kind of gory and violent and probably not appropriate for younger teens. I got to know the characters a little better in this book, but I still feel the author could have developed the characters more overall. We only seem to get to know them on a very superficial level. There is lots of action, suspense and some romance, but not enough really.....There were some scenes of implied rape, though the author did not go into the detail of it. Not much language to speak of. I am looking forward to reading the last book, Resurrection and hopefully will get some closure to all the many stories that occur in this book simultaneously. There is a lot going on, and it can get very confusing, so make sure you read the 1st books in the series before reading this one, or you will be totally lost. I am still unclear as to how some of the scenes of the present and the past are to be tied together.
